Dr. Bimal Bista is a dedicated medical professional with expertise in clinical practice and research. After earning his M.B.B.S degree from Kathmandu University, he completed a one-year internship at Dhulikhel Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in patient care.
He then worked as a Medical Officer in the Critical Care Unit of Patan Hospital, where he managed critically ill patients, including those with COVID-19, enhancing his skills in high-pressure and complex medical scenarios.
Currently serving as a Research Medical Officer at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit Nepal (OUCRU Nepal), Dr. Bista contributes to clinical trials and surveillance studies. His role involves treating patients, enrolling them in studies, and devising clinical plans tailored to study requirements.
