Arts-based approaches to engagement have been central to our work at OUCRU. Using creative tools for enabling people to tell their health stories, or co-design health interventions, can be a powerful means of empowering people to document and share their experiences. These are sometimes called ‘participatory visual methods’. We have also commissioned artists to document health issues relating to OUCRU’s key areas of research. Find out more below.
The project worked with local Newar women from women’s groups within the area of Patan, the location of OUCRU Nepal.
