Sushma Gyawali

Research Coordinator

Sushma Gyawali is a research coordinator at Oxford University Clinical Research Unit – Nepal since October 2021, with an interest in public health research and trial management. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the Institute of Medicine, where her thesis explored “Psychosocial problems and help-seeking intentions among school-going adolescents in Nepal” (2019). Before her current role, she worked as a staff nurse at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, providing clinical care to patients. She also has worked on the BNMT project “Sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents in earthquake-affected areas of Sindhupalchowk, Nepal,” and volunteered with the Ministry of Health and Population to support COVID-19 pandemic response efforts through case investigation and contact tracing.
