Vinh joined OUCRU in 2024. He is leading The MORU – OUCRU Discovery Research Academy (MODRA) in Vietnam, with a focus on global health and infectious diseases. Alongside leaders from Thailand and Indonesia, Vinh jointly manages the MODRA program supporting early to mid-career post-doctoral researchers in low- and middle-income countries in Asia through a series of academic workshops (including training on research proposal writing, project management, pitching skills, and research network building), awarding seed funding and connecting with senior mentors.
