Yen’s research is focused on investigating the potential sharing of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria and genes at the animal-human interface, particularly in colistin-resistant Escherichia coli.

She also coordinates the CHANCES and COCOON studies and leads the whole genome sequence analysis of Streptococcus pneumoniae.

Joined Zoonoses Group as a volunteer after graduation and later became a Research Assistant in February 2019.

Graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HCMC, majoring in Pharmacy.
