Gilbert is a recent medical graduate from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. From his early days as a medical student, he developed a keen interest in research, and OUCRU Indonesia has played a pivotal role in his journey towards becoming a mature physician-scientist. Proficient in the field of systematic reviews and meta-analyses, Gilbert excels in data analysis and visualization.
His career aspirations involve pursuing a path in internal medicine, with a specific focus on infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, or oncology. Gilbert brings valuable experience in publishing meta-analyses and advanced data analyses, including survival analyses, multiple imputations, causal mediation analyses, and regression modeling.
Currently, Gilbert is practicing as a general practitioner, eager to apply his skills and knowledge in the medical field.
Initially joined OUCRU Indonesia as a research intern under the supervision of Raph L. Hamers. Since then, Gilbert has been actively involved in various data analysis and visualization projects. These projects include the AMR Scoping Review, conducted in collaboration with the WHO to develop the Global Research Agenda on antimicrobial resistance; the INACO study; systematic reviews on antimicrobial use and antimicrobial resistance; and the INVITE project.
