Prior to her role at OUCRU, she worked as a Medical Officer in the Internal Medicine department/Medical ICU at Patan Hospital for one year.
In addition to her clinical work, Bidhya has also conducted various awareness and training programs on Safe Motherhood, Family Planning, Neonatal Health, and Tobacco Control in different districts. She has served as a facilitator for Family Planning, Safe Motherhood, and Neonatal Sensitization Programs through Advocacy in the Saptari district, both in urban and rural municipalities.
Bidhya Sharma is a member of the Nepal Medical Association (NMA).
