Before making a career change that eventually led to joining OUCRU, Vietnam, Chris trained as an Earth & Environmental Scientist in the UK and spent over 10 years working as an Environmental Consultant throughout the UK & Europe.
He has worked all over the UK & Europe investigating bacterial contamination of water systems and became a member of the Water Management Society, specialising in Legionnaires Disease.
Chris enjoyed the training & teaching side of his previous roles the most, and a career change which eventually led to teaching within a scientific environment made perfect sense!
