Alisha Pradhan has over four years of clinical nursing experience at Tribhuwan University Teaching hospital, one of Nepal’s largest tertiary care hospitals. With Masters degree in Public health, she joined Oxford University Clinical Research Unit-Nepal as a Research Officer. She played a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of the studies conducted by OUCRU-Nepal through comprehensive monitoring processes that spanned from inception to completion of a research. This included meticulous attention to detail in protocol adherence, data collection methods, and overall study execution, not just in Nepal but in international sites as well.
Currently serving as a Research Coordinator at OUCRU-Nepal, Alisha has honed her expertise in international clinical research. Her role involves developing standard operating procedures, training staff, coordinating data collection and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines. Her diverse background includes consultancy for the International Organization for Migration and research assistance on projects addressing gender, disability and disaster. Alisha’s commitment to community health is exemplified by her leadership as Vice President in health awareness programs. With a focus on advancing public health through rigorous research and effective strategies, Alisha is a dynamic force in the field, dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes.
