Sushmita Pathak started as an enumerator at OUCRU and worked on the Knowledge Assessment and Perspective on Antimicrobial Resistance among pharmacists in Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
She was also involved in the Impact of Improved Diagnostic Tools, Practices, Training, and Communication Package on Acute Fever Case Management and Antibiotic Prescriptions for Patients Presenting at Outpatient Facilities in Nepal – FIND project.
In recognition of her work, she received the International Society for Neglected Tropical Disease (ISTNTD) Festival Awards.
Before joining OUCRU as a research assistant, Sushmita Pathak worked at the Nepalese Army Welfare Medicine Management and Training Centre as a Training Instructor in Refresher Course on Medical and Computer Services and Pharmacy Assistant under medical management.
