Giang has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Asian Social Institute in the Philippines. He has over 10 years of experience working with vulnerable communities, such as LGBT, HIV, and poor communities, as well as patient communities, providing them with avenues to voice their needs and concerns.
He is currently the Public Engagement Coordinator at OUCRU, specialising in medical social work, community health, and social action research. Giang has worked with various non-governmental organisations, public agencies, and consultations related to community engagement. He focuses on strengthening capacity building for underserved populations and facilitating patient and caregiver engagement in hospital settings.
Giang is passionate about participation in different fields of work. He believes that audience involvement is crucial in empowering individuals and fostering sustainable community solutions.
