Dr Henry Surendra

Epidemiologist

Henry is an Epidemiologist at OUCRU Indonesia and Associate Professor of Public Health at Monash University Indonesia. He obtained his PhD in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

His current research includes malaria epidemiology, sero-surveillance for Vaccine Preventable Diseases, COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness, impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on TB, HIV, and childhood vaccination programmes, and investigation of TB epidemiology in Indonesia.

Henry is a Fellow of Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH) UK, Honorary Fellow of the Menzies School of Health Research Australia, Member of Indonesian Academy of Young Scientist (Akademi Ilmuwan Muda Indonesia), and Member of Indonesian Epidemiologist Association.
