Associate Professor Đông Thị Hoài Tâm

Associate Professor Dong Thi Hoai Tam, MD, PhD has participated in many studies in the fields of tropical diseases such as malaria, bacterial meningitis, dengue infection, HIV/AIDS, Hand Foot Mouth disease.

As a lecturer, she has provided lectures to students and post-graduate doctors about infectious diseases. As a clinician at the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, she is responsible for a variety of duties, including diagnosis and management of patients with severe infections.

Dr Dong Thi Hoai Tam has been a member of the training staff of the hospital, contributing especially to the training programme of Dengue or refresher courses on HIV/AIDS at the provincial hospitals in the south of Vietnam. She has been a member of the Ethics Committee Board of the Hospital For Tropical Diseases.
