Community Engagement and Social Science Research Officer

Fera serves as a Community Engagement and Social Science Research Officer. She supports a mixed-method social science study that explores stigma and seeks to improve access to care for individuals affected by infectious diseases in Sumba, Indonesia.

Before joining OUCRU, with expertise in epidemiology and public health research, program assistance and program impact evaluation, Fera has worked closely with rural communities across Indonesia, focusing on adolescent, maternal, and child health, women’s empowerment, and refugee health. In addition to her professional roles, she initiated a community-based waste recycling program and  co-authored a book titled “Psikologi dalam Praktik Kebidanan” and a research publication.
