Dr Puja Shrestha is the Project Manager at the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) at OUCRU Nepal. Her responsibilities include overseeing the overall trial management, ensuring necessary actions are taken, and providing clinical evaluation of patients enrolled in the trial. She plays a key role in coordinating communication between the project team in Nepal and international project sites, as well as providing training on the trial protocol to the team.

Dr Shrestha holds an MBBS from Nepal Medical College and a Master’s in Public Health from Patan Academy of Health Science. She has three years of experience working as a medical officer in emergency medicine at reputed hospitals, including Nepal Medical College, Peoples Medical College, and BlueCross Hospital. Her background in clinical practice and public health equips her to effectively manage and support complex clinical trials.
