Mr Parthipan Sockalingam brings nearly three decades of financial leadership experience, specialising in developing innovative financial strategies, business plans, and multi-year budgets. He has successfully transformed budgeting methodologies and is recognised for providing strategic financial counsel to senior leadership, excelling in risk mitigation.
He is adept at managing financial operations for large-scale, multi-year research projects funded by leading organisations, such as UK Research Councils and the EU. His expertise includes ensuring compliance with donor reporting requirements and maintaining effective financial oversight throughout the lifecycle of projects.
Parthipan is also recognised for driving organisational change and securing stakeholder buy-in for financial initiatives. He is a Fellow of the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants), holds an MSc in Corporate Finance from the University of Liverpool, and an MBA from York St. John University.
