Hang’s undergraduate research focused on students’ perception and behaviour in preventing COVID-19, and she has a great interest in Public Health, Bioethics, and Health Policy. She joined the RESHAPE Project in 2021 and is responsible for supporting and conducting engagement activities and collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. In addition, she also involves in clinical studies related to anatomy, children’s mental health, and digital health. Her orientation is integrating social science into public health and health policy to improve healthcare services and health equality, especially in low-resource healthcare environments.
RESHAPE Project comprises three main components: LEAF – Engagement with key stakeholders, SEED – A 3-year cohort of Vietnamese medical students, and BRANCH – Groups of medical students in Palestine, Singapore, the UK, and other Asian countries. The project aims at understanding the community’s perceptions towards research involving human subjects, including Clinical Trials and Human Challenge Studies, and ensure that an appropriate and practical approach is adopted in designing medical research in the future.
